Snog Report
~Kingdom of Lirynn ~

Silverdawn -No report

Na'el -
The restlessness in Na'el continues as a brawl breaks out in the Apple of Your Eye tavern, involving a minotaur and an unfortunate elf who didn't move soon enough.  Fortunately an elder intervened before things could get ugly. Afterwards the militia moved in and cleaned up the remaining mess, including straightening out the chaos outside of the tavern.

Trouble continues with a break-in at the Silver Dagger.  Thieves made a mess and took off with some goods, including the owner's family shield. Attempts to retrieve it have so far been unsuccessful, although two good Samaritans helped put the shop back to rights.  They then disappeared out into the Glimmerwood, and haven't been seen since.

People seem to be leaving Na'el in droves lately.  Two elves and a human set off for Silverdawn after an interesting encounter with the human's rather fractious mount.  The stablehand found dents in the walls where the horse's hooves had kicked out.  An eyewitness reported that she saw the horse take off for the Glimmerwood with the travelers in pursuit.

Well, I have to be going myself, got places to burn and people to torture.

-Until next time, this is KM Sade signing off.

Thornmist -
Well this little obscure village has gained enough noriety from the gob-elf war that's brewing to make it onto the map.  In spite of it's minuscule size, this place is hopping with secrets and strange occurrences.

While not as closed off as the capital city, elves were shocked to see a human waltz into the DarkLight Tavern and were quite relieved when the proprietor's son asked him to leave.  The tension in the air settled down as the tavern returned to its proper environment.

In other news, several sailors were seen carrying an unconscious man into a large set of apartments.  "I hear he was involved in some fight in the capital." whispered one elf watching the scene.  The man who answered the door declined to comment at this time.

Enth'ryni has been seeing an influx of injured travelers lately, probably those who have come seeking wonders from the Fai’anlynai Arboretum and the contingent of healers there.  With the war that seems imminent, supplies in the Arboretum will soon be more precious then ever.

One of the oddest sights in town has to be Githkin's Weapons, not only is it a shop of the instruments of war, but Githkin is a goblin who charges in currency.  As of yet it is unclear just why Githkin is allowed in an elven village, especially with such free reign.  Tune in next time and perhaps we'll have the answers!

Wilderness -
A look into the Wilderness of Lirynn brings us, surprise, surprise, news of the Goblins and Elves!  Yeesh, the way these two races fight, you'd think they'd be married.

The Goblins, it seems, have stolen a group of elven lasses, and the Elves are fit to be tied.  No wonder there's a war going on.

Our top story is on the Elven army, as they make their way through the woods.  We come across them at the bridge over the river Kwai, er, I mean the bridge at the mouth of the river Shae.  In fact, here's a K'm'anarin now!

"Mr. K'm'anarin, can you tell us what the plans are for the elven army? Hey, now, come on, what are you doing? No, put that sword away!  Hey!  I'm not a Goblin!  Do I look like a Goblin to you?"

Well, that as certainly interesting.  I'm glad they left. I can't believe that K'm'anarin mistook me for a Goblin!

Anyway, it's not just the army headed south it seems.  Here comes a straggler headed south with a load full of equipment.  Let's see what she has to say.  "Miss?  Can you tell us what your thought are about the war? No?  What did you say?  Maps?  No, I don't need a map to Silverdawn!"

Sheesh, what is it with these Elves?

Of course, not all of the Elves are concerned with the war.  It seems that just bathing in a river can have it's own perils.  One poor elf nearly lost his foot that way.  Another fellow fell off a boat, and now seems to have this terrible rash.  Maybe it was something he ate?

Of course, darker things abound in the woods than just Goblins and rashes. It wouldn't be Lirynn if they didn't.  Rumor has it the Cult of the Winter Tree is back in action.  I don't know about that, but didn't I see some bald headed elves lurking around here just a moment ago?
