| A Telgard Interview!
Up close and personal with Ryone Strife! by Snog R.S.: "Well, hello there, Mr. Gutterwump. I see you've met some of Telgard's most talented. I'm one of the newer cast members in the Telgard episodes, and I'm still learning the ropes around here. However, I must say that I love the cast and crew that run this magnificent show. Been in the business for five years now. Started in college, doing oddball supporting roles, now I'm here." "So, Mr. Gutterwump, what do you want to know about me? I must say that Ryone Strife's character is an unpredictable one. These directors and writers (OOC: GM's and CD's) are awesome at the scripts, but they usually keep us in the dark about it. Makes us the actors also join in on the mystery." S.G:" Well yes the producers do seem to keep us in the dark don't they. I suppose it keeps the leeks to the press down and suspense up! Well Ben, may I call you Ben? R.S: "Yes" S.G.: "Well I'm starting
a feature for the Telgard Tribune and well seeing as you're a new member
of the cast... we'd like your comments on where you think your character
is headed. What drives him, why is he a criminal? Where would you like
him to go? The fans want details! They always want details, the nitty gritty.
They love the stuff, eat it, breath it. You know, they just can't get enough.
With all the side contracts the producers have going,
R.S.:"Well, that's flattering. Anyway, sure, I'll tell you about my character. Ryone Strife is the product of poverty. Abandoned at the poorest gutters of Maston at the age of six, he was forced to resort to thievery for survival. He was arrested at his early teens and sent to a juvenile prison camp, where he had to put up with a lot of darkness and vile from other criminals. Ryone is an intelligent character. During his youth, he played music from a violin he stole. During his years at prison, the wardens saw his natural intelligence and developed his mind in the fields of engineering, music, and magic awareness. At heart, he is a kind, caring if somewhat jaded person. You have to keep in mind, though, that Ryone is a product of his environment. He came from a world of sickness, darkness, vile, and evil. That kind of world pounds on a person's true character, and as a result, you normally see Ryone, the fearless and jaded criminal. That kind of personality, though it covers up Ryone's inner self, cannot truly hide his good heart. He looks neither innocent nor evil, but rather carries the appearance of a wounded, untrusting, and somewhat contemptuous soul." "Initially you will see Ryone, the criminal. He will probably get himself in a lot of trouble and he'll probably do the exact things that once put him in confinement, the exact things he now hates. You will probably see a novice who carries himself with fearlessness. You will probably see also that as he goes along, he either gets into the wrong company or is despised by people all around." S.G.: "That's great! Great I tell you! Anyway, do you think Ryone will end up in cahoots with any of the other characters? How 'bout grand schemes? Take for example Jacco over there his character wants to rule the world.... wait that's my character! No, no he wants to be a merchant king! That's it! How about you? R.S.:" I want Ryone to
evolve. The later episodes will probably touch on his past, and will probably
probe his inner self to resurface from years of seclusion. You will slowly
see him change from a hardened criminal to a
S.G.: " Thanks for the interview Ryone! All the best!" This has been edited to compliance
