CD Game Report
- by  CD Mjollnir

Hello, everyone! It's CD Mjollnir, here to tell you some of the updates that Telgard has gone through in the last few months.

Website: Changes to the website have been few and far between, unfortunately. My program will not run and coding HTML by hand is inconvenient. A reformat will fix it but I always seem to lose important information when I do that, so I'm holding off until I have a proper backup. Many people have informed me of website errors and changes that need to be made and I still have that in my emails.

WW Quest: The World Wide Quest has been streamlined and hopefully will be in full swing by September. If you want to be a part of it, sign up NOW: no one will be able to join two weeks into September.

Moderator Crises: By the gods, we actually seem to have a surplus of moderators!! This means that Telgard will be able to sustain expansion in various directions: expect new cities to pop up here and there either before September or after. And, of course, there will be the new Kingdom and the new Race to join it.

Suggestion Box: We haven't been recieving any suggestions on ways to improve the game or the website...and we want them. Good suggestions help keep us the top Play-by-Post RPG on the 'Net.

Posticons: The posticons are back courtesy of CD Mac.

We hope you keep enjoying the game as much as we are! Thank you for making Kingdoms of Telgard such a success!

A Poem
- by Taplar

--I come from open land in far away places,
Fresh brisk air in open spaces.
Driven from a home of trust,
Unknown if caused by hate or lust.
To the forest so tall and green,
To the river so calm and clean.
I do not know to where I go,
By rain or sun, breeze or snow.

--I come from a place only in some dreams,
Where god has blest and the sunshine beams.
Walking along the untread path,
Finding crisp waterfalls to take my bath.
Animal alike all carry on their day,
They have no house, no money to pay.
I do not know to where I go,
By rain or sun, breeze or snow.

--I come from a place I miss so much,
I crave the feeling, to devower the touch.
Seeing loved ones who have long gone,
But I am traveler, I journey on.
Over hills and through valleys deep,
One thing haunts my restless sleep.
I do not know to where I go,
...By rain or sun, breeze or snow

Did you know?
-  by CD Mac

- Did you know that female ss'tiss are dominant in ss'tiss society? It's true! In fact, females are much larger and are the stronger warriors. Oh, those poor boys will just have to stand back and make way for their betters. *wink*

- Gold coins are NOT common currency. WHAT? Yeah, that's right. Common folk just don't go around toting bags of gold. Gold is heavy!! Besides, everyday purchases require a modest supply of the lesser coins/currency. So, don't squander your starting gold, newbies! It might not be that easy to replace! In Lirynn, the currency isn't even metal let alone gold. Don't go flashing your gold coins around. That's a good way to get robbed.

- Since the last report, the most common physical feature described in new character applications is.............the scar. Yes, that's right. There's been a major rush of scar-faced adventurers setting out into the world of Telgard. It seems that our newbies would rather go ahead and scar themselves beforehand rather than take the hits from our moderators. I guess we'll have to think of some other way to torture them.......
