DEFINITION OF TERMS:

Wyrming is a serious issue. It can destroy the continuity of the story and make the whole thing a lot less fun for you, your Moderator, and any other players in your thread. As a result, there are several steps your Moderator may take to help correct this.

Many instances of Wyrming are unintentional. In most cases, your Moderator will contact you either within the thread or by email to discuss a Wyrm you have committed. She will either have you correct it or correct it herself within the context of the thread.

If Wyrming persists, however, your Moderator may have to take additional steps. Your character may be attacked by Wyrmspawn. These dark offspring of the Great Wyrm, H’roathyll, come in many shapes and sizes. They will swoop unexpectedly down upon your character, inflict some sort of injury upon him, and disappear back to whence they came. In most cases, this injury will be a continuous reminder to your character to pay closer attention to his actions.

On occasion, there arises the rare and extreme case of a player who just won’t play by the rules. Such a person may consistently ignore his Moderator’s pleas and persist in creating situations that give his character undue advantages. As a final and extreme punishment for continually violating the rules, a Moderator may punish the character of such a player with death. This is usually final, as a player who has progressed to this point is unlikely to have any interest in working with his Moderator anyway. Such instances are rare, however, and can be prevented by remaining consistent with the bounds of the story you and your Moderator are creating.
