GOBLIN RELIGION AND CULTURE:
Goblins
live in a vast jungle that they call the Green; they worship it
as a sentient entity, and they're not far wrong. The Green has two
aspects, the Mother and the Serpent, and neither aspect is good
or evil. They represent a cycle where death and life are balanced,
and the goblins fear the duo as much as they worship them.
Goblin
society is based on tribal relations; there are two large tribes,
the Korakolum and the Greegore, and in addition there are a few
smaller tribes and a large population of Tribeless. The tribeless
are scorned by the tribes, but they had forsworn their oaths to
the tribes in order to live a life of self-sufficiency. The tribeless
are a product of culture in Deeg, due to the influence of the humans
who came to trade there. The tribes members themselves are easily
identified; tribal tattoos cover large parts of their bodies, and
they often hold the positions of power in Mirg. The Korakolum are
based mostly in Krull and produce most of Krull's diamonds; their
members have tattoos around the eyes. The Greegore are in Deeg,
exporting most of Mirg's legal and illicit drugs, and their members
have tattoos on the shoulders. Two other tribes, the Aaleem with
tattoos on the chest and the Gaabaanowa with tattoos on the backs
of their hands, tend to work outside the influence of the other
two.

GOBLIN
NOBILITY:
Goblin
nobility depends on one's hierarchy in the tribes; shamans are among
the highest positions one can achieve, and they are both highly
respected and greatly feared. The Queen of Mirg is based in Krull,
and those she adds to her harem are princes. The two heads of the
Korakolum and Greegore tribes are the next highest in nobility,
and they are the ones who hand out noble titles within the tribes
and adopt those who were born tribeless into the tribe if that is
their desire.
