DELFAE IN GENERAL

Physical description: Delfae are small, spritely creatures that rarely leave the Underground caverns of Korgarr. They have coal-black skin and jewel-like, pupil-less eyes, and they stand roughly three and a half feet tall. Facial hair on men is long and silky, and women are of similar physical proportions save for their hips and breasts--thus, they are equals in physical ability. Delfae are the premier magic-users of Telgard. They--and to a lesser extent, their dwarven neighbours--are the only race that actively and openly embrace magic. They are stronger than any other race in their magic, and on top of that, their racial skill enables them to create reservoirs of power.

For more information on the delfaen racial skill, the Well, please see the Skills page.

DELFAE PCs:

Delfaen PCs are limited to having a strength of 2; in addition, they have a vulnerability to light. However, they can see perfectly in the dark, and are the strongest in magic. The Delfaen Race Skill is the Well, the ability to create a reservoir of power. Delfae automatically get the advantage Blood of the Magi at no cost. Delfaen PCs are usually the only Delfae that venture out of Korgarr, for they are the only ones vigourous and brave enough to endure the outside world.

DELFAE AND THE OTHER RACES:

Delfae officially have almost no contact with other races save the dwarves; the only ones that do are those adventurers that forge to the surface and brave the sun. As such, other races often have prejudices and legends of the delfae that scarcely skim the truth--when they can bother to think about the delfae at all; delfae often have similar misperceptions.
