History of Lirynn
Lirynn’s legends can be found in the Legend and Histories section of the website. Some tales are specific to Lirynn. Others are told throughout Telgard.

The Elves - This legend tells how the elvish race came into being, and how the elves first spread across the land, before being pushed out of the way by the other races.

History of Lirynn - A detailed record of the major events in the history of Lirynn. It covers the Race Wars through the present-day.

Founding of Lirynn - No one knows who began circulating this legend through Lirynn, but it covers the events prior to the Race War in great, if possibly inaccurate, depth.

The Race Wars - The elves were forced out of the lands they had roamed freely, and the losses they incurred in the fighting nearly lead to the extinction of the first-born.

The Bittering - This dark tale of the events on the border between Lirynn and Mirg is just a fanciful rumor…isn’t it?

The Scourge - The Scourge was the most devastating event to occur in Telgard since the Race Wars. There seems to be one version commonly told throughout the kingdoms. When anybody dares tell it, that is.

Origins of Lifesong - Though no one can say with certainty when the Lifesong first came into being, here is one recorded account from a little-known scholar, about the receiving of Faeterna’s Gift.

Monarchy to Communism - Appalled by the bickering between the elves, one scholar devises a plan to set his race apart from the others, by revolutionizing the government.

The Coup - For many years now, Lirynn had been enjoying peace and prosperity under the gentle guidance of their emperor. The threat of goblins in the south was ever-present, but all in all, the people were content. Except for one man.

Trial of the Tekal - The most recent addition to Lirynnian history, the trial of the tekal marked the fortunately brief reign of the madman who seized power in Lirynn. May his fate serve as a warning to all.
